Tilda with Cozy Heart ♥

..a FRIEND listens to the words, but can also hear the heart..

I just adore Magnolia stamps ♥ This card is my DT inspiration for PapirPlaneten, an all norwegian challengeblog and craft shoppe, and the theme for July & August is Summer! :)
Does it seem like the dinner plate she sits on is surrounded by dishwashing foam? I have the Tilda Lace die and got the idea that it kind of looked like it could be foam *lol*
http://papirplaneten1.blogspot.no/

I used the amazing Indigo Blu MegaFlake gilding on the frame, for the first time I might add, and oh my! What a sticky mess!!! And whatever you do - DON'T breathe! Or it will fly everywhere ~ I looked like tinkerbelle afterwards *lol*
But it looks awesome ♥
Next time with a bit more caution though... I used it first on a tim holtz flower stencil (such a pretty result for a future project), and I took my time dabbing glue into all the little gaps of the stencil.. which was very bad apparently! It only took a minute before the glue was too sticky on the stencil that I couldn't get it off when I took it to wash in the sink!

I ended up probably spending 15 minutes getting it almost all off by scrubbing and nearly damaging the tiny details in the process.. I've been educating myself on youtube now ~ demo by Kay at CHA ~ so I will be sure to have a tub of water next to me and only dab for 10 seconds before hurling it into water ;)

I enter my card in theese fab Challenges: [Ends on]

I love to watercolor! My favourite technique is mixing Tims Distress inks with twinkling H2O's. Love the shine! I usually use the pads onto a plastic sheet and pick up with a brush, but sometimes I use the reinkers or the markers too. I also have inktense pencils and other coloring supplies, but distress inks and twinks are the best ♥

Scandinavian challenges:
Hobbygarasjen #38. ~ alt er lov! (2. bidrag) [25.Juli]
